At Day Job, there are two ways to screen your film.

Our annual Day Job Film Festival

Our monthly Day Job Film Club

Day Job Film Festival

Every three months, we showcase around 10 short films to a live audience of filmmakers, artists and film lovers.

The festival was created from a belief that filmmakers should be treated with care and respect at every stage of their journey. We see short film - often self-funded and made outside traditional systems - as the foundation of independent filmmaking and artistic experimentation.

Alongside the screenings, the festival features filmmaker Q&As, live music, handmade awards and plenty of time for genuine conversation and connection.

Day Job Film Club

Every month, we host a more intimate screening at The Star Above in the heart of North London.

We screen both short films and feature films, followed by filmmaker Q&As, audience discussion and an Audience Award. Rather than formal networking, the Film Club is about bringing filmmakers and industry professionals together in a relaxed environment where conversations happen naturally over a great film.

Whether you're submitting to the Film Festival or the Film Club, our aim is the same: to celebrate independent cinema, champion emerging filmmakers and build a community that lasts long after the credits roll.
