STEP 5 - GET
FEEDBACK
“Fresh eyes make better scripts.”
If you can afford professional script notes - great. If not, peer feedback is gold.
Ways to find readers:
• Join online writing communities like Scribe Lounge, The Developing Room, or Film Underground.
• Swap scripts with other filmmakers or actors in your network.
• Build a small, trusted feedback circle.
When asking for notes, don’t say “Is this too long?” - ask “How did the pacing feel?”
Ask open-ended questions. And remember: feedback isn’t personal. You’re not the script.
