THE NOTES
“Don’t defend - investigate.”
When feedback lands, resist the urge to argue. Listen, reflect, and look for patterns.
If three people say the same thing - they’re probably right.
If one person doesn’t get it - maybe it’s not for them.
Sort feedback into three categories:
1. ✅ Definitely fix - clear issues everyone spots.
2. ⚖️ Consider - creative choices you might test.
3. ❌ Discard - bad or irrelevant notes.
Remember: some notes are just people telling you how they’d write it. That’s not your job.
